iPhone 7 Plus will have 256 GB Storage

Originally posted on Chinese microblogging site Weibo, the image is just the latest in a series of pictures of potentially dubious authenticity given how easy it is to digitally alter them. 


The photo in question appears to be of Hong Kong origin, and claims to show the inclusion of Lightning-equipped wired EarPods and a Lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter in the box. 

Those details square with the widely held belief that Apple's upcoming iPhone 7 and 7 Plus won't have a headphone jack, and will instead rely on an all-in-one Lightning port for charging, listening, and connectivity. 

Yesterday, Apple added a 2TB storage tier to its iCloudservice, which could be tied to the impending launch of a larger capacity handset or improvements to phone camera quality. Also yesterday, Apple was granted EAEC certificates for "AirPods" – wireless in-ear headphones which may be sold separately as accessories. 

With just a week to go before Apple's September 7 media event, leaks and rumors of varying quality will undoubtedly continue to emerge at an increasing pace. Pre-orders for the new iPhones are expected to begin on September 9 with a potential launch of September 16 or September 23.

We’ve seen a ton of leaked iPhone 7 photos and videos, but many of them show iPhone 7 clones rather than actual iPhone 7 units, even if these fakes are based on actual iPhone 7 schematics. However, a case maker has now posted a slew of images that show accessories for the upcoming iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. These may be the best leaked iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus images yet, given that premier accessory makers like Spigen might know certain things about Apple’s coming iPhones that the rest of us don’t.

Spigen seems to be so confident about its information that it didn’t even remove the product pages once they were discovered, even though they may have been published “by accident.” The company even lists the names of Apple’s coming iPhones as iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

The iPhone 7 renders Spigen offers show the same design elements we expect. Both the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will feature redesigned antenna lines on the back, and they will lack the 3.5mm headphone jack found on most other smartphones. Furthermore, camera cutouts on the back of Spigen cases indicate that both handsets will receive camera upgrades, including a bigger sensor for the 4.7-inch iPhone 7 and a dual-lens camera for the iPhone 7 Plus.

In total, Spigen listed no less than 16 different iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus cases, so you can already decide what to buy next. On the other hand, it’s probably a good idea to wait until the new phones are actually announced before you make any decisions.

Team PP – An Underrated iOS 10 Beta 8 Jailbreak Team

Team PP came into the limelight when it released the PP Jailbreak for iOS 8.3 . However, instead of receiving gratitude and appreciation, the PP team faced criticism for being a direct copy of the TaiG tool . This was the reason why the PP jailbreak did not receive many downloads.

How To Jailbreak iOS 9.3.5

Because this is a Windows-only jailbreak, you’ll need a PC, or a Mac with either Bootcamp or a virtual machine running Windows to jailbreak your device.
Another thing we need to note before getting started is that this jailbreak only supports 64-bit iOS devices, so the iPhone 5 is officially out of support. It’s unknown if this will change in the future, but the list of supported devices currently are:

• iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE
• iPod touch 6G
• iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 4, iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad Pro

And perhaps the biggest caveat of all is that this isn’t an untethered jailbreak. Instead, it’s what’s known as a semi-untethered jailbreak because you have to run the tool each and every time you reboot your device in order to see and use Cydia. It’s very similar to tethered jailbreaks that we’ve seen in the past, but not quite the same because you don’t need a computer.

Jailbreaking with Pangu

If you have one of the supported devices, have access to a Windows machine, and want to jailbreak your iOS device, then you’re going to want to follow these steps:
1) Update your iOS device to iOS 9.3.3. This is the latest jailbreakable firmware and this means you’re going to want to install it because it has all of the latest bug fixes and security features.
2) Make sure to turn off Find My iPhone and to disable your passcode on the device you’re jailbreaking, then plug it into your computer with the Lightning cable.
3) Make sure the computer has iTunes installed on it before proceeding; you can download it here. If you haven’t already, be sure to trust your computer from your iOS device and trust your iOS device from iTunes.
4)Download PP/Pangu jailbreak tool installer for Windows.

5) Right-click on it and click Run As Administrator.


6) Windows will ask you to trust the publisher. Click on the Yes button.

7) Windows may also ask you to trust the app for Windows Firewall, so go ahead and Trust the connections.

8) When the tool launches, click on the only button in the UI and it’ll start downloading and installing the actual jailbreak tool.

9) When finished, you’ll notice a new app with the PP icon on it:

10) Right-click it and choose Run As Administrator once again.

11) Next, click on the Yes button when asked if the app can run on your PC.

12) The jailbreak tool interface will open and attempt to discover any connected devices.

13) Once your device is discovered, click on the green button to proceed.

14) The green button will begin to display a loading circle to indicate it’s busy.

15) After a few minutes, you will be asked for your Apple ID. Proceed at your own risk and log in, or do what we did and create a phony Apple ID to log in with. When your information is entered, click on the green button to log in.

16) Now wait a few minutes longer and a Pangu/PP app appears on your iOS device’s Home screen:

17) You now want to go to your Settings app (not the Pangu/PP app), and navigate to General > Device Management.

18) Tap on the profile that appears here, and then tap on the blue Trust button that appears with your email address.
19) In the pop-up prompt, tap on the red Trust button, and then go to your Home screen after you’ve successfully trusted the profile.
20) Next, you want to launch the Pangu/PP app that was on your Home screen. You will be prompted to allow push notifications. Make sure to allow them by tapping on the OK button.

21) Next, tap on the circle in the app, and then it will turn into a line of text.

22) Now, lock your device by pressing your sleep button once. After a few moments, you should see a notification appear:

23) After a few seconds, you should also see a prompt for your device’s storage getting full. This is normal, and indicates Cydia is being installed. You can unlock your device and re-launch the Pangu/PP app and you should see it trying to install Cydia.

24) Your device should automatically reboot itself a few moments after, and when it turns back on, you should see Cydia on your Home screen:

25) Launch Cydia, and it will re-load data and prepare the filesystem as it typically always does when you jailbreak your device.

Unlock Every iPhone (iOS Device) Without Passcode

About iPhone Passcodes

The exact behavior of the iPhone depends on its configuration when one forgets the passcode. By default, there is not a passcode at all. However, Apple notes the following regarding forgotten passcodes:

If you repeatedly enter the wrong passcode, your iPhone will be disabled for longer intervals before you can try again. After too many unsuccessful attempts, you won't be able to try again until you connect it to the computer with which you last synced it [if it has been synced to a computer].

Note: You can configure your device to erase itself after ten consecutive incorrect password attempts. This setting is off by default. It can be turned on by tapping Settings > General > Passcode Lock.

If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it [or iCloud]. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.

Please also note that Apple representatives can't unlock an iPhone for you without restoring the iPhone, either. The restore process will erase everything on it.

Downgrade iOS 9.3.4 To iOS 6.0.1

Downgrading iOS                                                                          

To downgrade iOS you need the older IPSW (iPhone or iPad software) file. This may be on your computer if you upgraded through iTunes and your desktop OS hasn’t cleared it away as a junk file. On OS X look in ~/Library/iTunes and in Windows 10 navigate through Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes folder. You’re looking for a folder called iPhone Software Updates or iPad Software Updates.
If you can’t find the older IPSW (.ipsw) file on your local system, there are plenty of repositories on the web where you can download archived files for free, such as IPSW Downloads. Choose your device, select the iOS version you want to go back to, and download the file. IPSW Downloads helpfully marks the packages currently signed as valid by Apple in green.

Fire up iTunes and connect your iOS device. Open the device’s page inside iTunes and you get the familiar Restore screen. Rather than just clicking the Restore button as normal, use Option+Click (OS X) or Shift+Click (Windows), which prompts you to choose an IPSW file rather than just using the most recent one from Apple. Pick the file you downloaded earlier and the reset and restore process starts.

Downgrading from a beta version (iOS 10 Beta)

       Getting off a beta version back to an older, stable version is relatively straightforward, but bear in mind that iOS 10 backups saved while running the beta software will no longer work. If you’re running beta software, before you connect your iOS device to your computer, turn it off then press and hold the Home button. Keep the button pressed until the Connect to iTunes message appears on screen.
You should see an alert on screen saying there’s “a problem” with your device and you can then click Restore to start the process. This time you don’t have to pick an IPSW file as iTunes simply uses the most recent stable release of iOS direct from Apple. After a few minutes you’ll have a factory-fresh device ready to go again.
That’s all there is to it. It’s an easy process once you know how, but the limitations put in place by Apple (and with good reason) mean you’re restricted in terms of when you can downgrade. It’s usually only possible right after a new version of iOS has been pushed out into the wild, so we advise you act fast.
